Global film/TV giants and Taiwanese stars join forces at TCCF FORUM to analyze international co-productions and content trends
The 2024 Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF), organized by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency, will be held from November 5 to 8 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 2, 7F. The FORUM section, which will analyze all kinds of industry trends, inspiring new ideas and fostering the sharing of experiences, invites NAH Yung-suk, the ace producer of many popular Korean variety shows, Chalermchatri YUKOL, the President of the Film and Series Subcommittee of the Thailand's National Soft Power Strategy Committee, and Pascal BRETON, the President of Federation Studios, which has expanded its reach across global markets in TV series, films, and documentaries, to attend TCCF as speakers; moreover, Taiwanese actors include Kai KO, WU Ke-xi, JC LIN, and Esther LIU will also join in. The 2024 TCCF FORUM revolves around the theme "Together for Impact" and will feature 15 panels and keynotes by over 25 industry professionals and talents from 12 countries, including Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, the UK, the USA, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Colombia. Covering topics such as variety shows, film and television, animation, children's content, and IPs, these sessions will explore international strategies and co-production experiences, how to adapt and localize IPs, and emerging trends in the global market.

A highly anticipated star producer is coming to Taiwan! This session will feature PD NAH, the mastermind behind popular variety shows such as "Earth Arcade, Youn's Kitchen", "2 Days & 1 Night", and "New Journey to the West". He will share his thoughts on today's variety show productions, bringing his unique vision and boundless creativity to the discussion. This session will feature representatives from Turkish Radio Television Corporation, TRT Sinema, along with representatives from the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, and National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS). They will share their respective film and television resource co-production plans, helping you to quickly grasp various international funding opportunities.
No Borders: The New Wave of Taiwan Actors in International Collaboration
In the globalized film and television industry, international co-productions have become a prominent trend. However, differences in cultural backgrounds, languages, and working styles often present challenges for actors and production teams. This session features Taiwanese actors Esther LIU, WU Ke-xi, Kai KO, and JC Lin, who will share their international experiences, and talk about building connections in diverse teams, adapting to a range of directing styles and production practices, and reflecting cultural nuances in their performances.
