Organized by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), the 2025 Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) — one of Asia’s most important content industry events — will take place from November 4 to 7 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 2, 7F. In response to the growing trend of international co-productions and the needs of the Asian film and television market, this year’s TCCF PITCHING has been expanded in both scale and scope. In addition to an increase in the number of selected projects, more themed pitch sessions, and major European and American institutions joining as award sponsors, international star LIN ChiLing will be launching her own award for the very first time, encouraging even more outstanding content creators to participate. TCCF PITCHING is now open for submissions worldwide!
TCCF PITCHING brings together high-potential content proposals from across the global market. Divided into two main segments — “Project” and ‘Story” — the selected projects will cover a diverse range of formats including feature films, series, animation, documentaries, published texts, and comics. “Project” focuses on film and series proposals, while “Story” aims to uncover cross-media stories with strong potential for film and TV adaptation. In 2024, the event attracted 600 submissions from 50 countries, offering not only significant cash prizes but also granting fast-track opportunities to enter major international festivals — providing content creators with valuable international exposure.
World-class pitch training workshops will once again be hosted as a part of TCCF PITCHING. In 2024, renowned mentors leading the workshops included Shogun producer MIYAGAWA Eriko, Annecy MIFA moderator Dennis ALME DE VISSCHER, and In-Docs Program Director Gugi GUMILANG — all of whom received glowing feedback. In 2025, the workshops will continue to bring Hollywood and global industry professionals to Taiwan, helping content creators refine their pitches and elevate their international competitiveness.
This year, the scale of TCCF PITCHING has been expanded even further. The “Feature Film” session will increase its number of selections from 12 to 20, while “Series” will maintain its general session (10 selections of any genre) but add a special themed session titled “If Romance Comes Again” (6 selections) that focuses on diverse, innovative romance-themed projects. On the other hand, the “Story” segment will grow from 20 to 38 selections, reflecting the surging demand for original content and IP development in the Asian market.
A major highlight this year is the debut of the “ChiLing’s Future Makers Award” established by internationally renowned model and actress LIN ChiLing, making her the first celebrity to create a dedicated award for TCCF PITCHING. Personally initiated by LIN, the award will present TWD 500,000 (approximately USD 16,500) each to three selected works in the Feature Film, Animation, and Documentary categories — for a total of TWD 1.5 million (approximately USD 49,500). The aim is to support original works centering on “women’s issues,” inviting content creators to convey a more tender perspective through their images and share love and hope with the world. This award not only reflects LIN’s deep commitment to the film and television industry, but also echoes the growing global focus on women’s voices and gender equality.
This year, Gold House, the most influential nonprofit organization supporting Asian Pacific content creators and community worldwide, will also be setting up an award at TCCF PITCHING for the first time, sponsoring a dedicated award and providing international industry resources. France’s Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC) is once again partnering with TAICCA to select one proposal from all entries across the “Project” sessions, with the winning work receiving a USD 30,000 prize and industry resources to support its entry into the European market. France’s Société Civile des Editeurs de Langue Française (SCELF) will also continue working with TCCF to present the “Shoot the Book! TCCF” session, aimed at boosting the global visibility and diversity of story content, expanding cross-border adaptation opportunities for selected works, and promoting deeper exchanges and development between the Taiwanese and French content industries.
In addition, this year TAICCA and Taiwan Mobile have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), under which teams selected through TCCF PITCHING will gain access to Taiwan Mobile’s “Commercial Content Creation Talent Program” for two years, receiving financial support totaling over TWD 3 million, as well as the opportunity to connect with training courses offered by TAICCA SCHOOL. The goal is to integrate diverse resources to help screenwriters develop high-quality, commercially viable stories, and accelerate the commercialization of original Taiwanese content.
TAICCA Chairperson Homme TSAI noted that the TCCF, now in its sixth year, has become a key platform for the global industry to discover Mandarin-language and Asian content. The participation of major European and American institutions in sponsoring awards — along with internationally renowned actress LIN ChiLing launching an award in her own name for the first time — reflects the shared anticipation and commitment of both the private sector and the industry toward cultural content. TAICCA will continue to support Taiwanese content creators in gaining visibility on the world stage, so that good stories can travel farther and resonate more deeply.
